Visit statistics
The site uses Plausible to see how many people visit and which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not collect anything that identifies you personally, and does not track you across other websites.
Videos
Each song's television can hold a YouTube player, but nothing from YouTube loads until you press play. The notice under the set says so at the time: when you press play, YouTube's player loads from youtube.com, and from then on YouTube and Google set cookies and see your IP address, under Google's own privacy policy. If you are signed in to YouTube in the same browser, YouTube will know it is you.
If you tick "remember this", that choice is kept in your browser's local storage, on this site only, and the player is loaded as each song page opens. It is not sent anywhere. "Stop loading videos automatically", under any television, clears it; so does clearing your browser's site data.
Where the words come from
The chart facts and the song and artist notes are from Wikipedia, under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Each song page links to the articles it draws on.
